Our UMONIUM³⁸ product belongs to a new generation of disinfectants:

• with no aldehydes or phenols
• action mechanisms associated with two alcohols (Isopropanol and Tridecyl Ceteth) and a quaternary ammonium (Benzalkonium Chloride)
• enlarged activity spectrum
• reduction of contact time needed for destruction of micro-organisms.

This original formula offers the benefits of remarkable effectiveness in very short application times and a high level of safety of use. It enables total cold disinfection and cleaning of sensitive and fragile materials.

Its activity is only slightly reduced by the accidental presence of interfering matter. European standards requirements on minimum logarithmical reduction are 4 logs and 5 logs respectively for fungi and bacteria.

The results show that you can have real confidence in the use of our chemical association for combatting the growing resistance of micro-organisms.

Biocidal activity has been demonstrated on GRAM+ and GRAM- bacteria, fungi, mycobacteria and sporulant bacteria.

Their effectiveness has been demonstrated up to conditions of interference capable of inhibiting disinfectants (pH, hardness, presence of organic matter) and confirmed by a method which simulates conditions of in vivo usage according to the AFNOR 72-190 or GERM CARRIER standard.
