TOXICITY

An oral toxicity study has determined an acceptable risk value with regard to an operator: the concentrated product presents low toxicity: DL50 > 5000 mg/kg; and an irritation test classified it as possibly irritant but neither corrosive nor necrotic.

RINSABILITY (STUDY OF RESIDUES AFTER TREATMENT OF SURFACES)

A study has demonstrated the excellent suitability to rinsability of our products following application on glass, PVC or stainless steel. In fact, almost all the product applied (>99.5%) was present in the rinse water.

IRRITATION – CORROSION

Mildly irritant in aqueous solution, the pure product is merely irritant according to the “Acute Dermal Toxicity” study. Its pH is neutral (7) and it is non-corrosive to equipment.

FLAMMABILITY

Non-flammable, product sprayed through a flame does not catch fire.

VAPOUR PRESSURE

The vapour pressure according to ASTM D 323 is less than 0.5 kpa, i.e. not significant

COMPATIBILITY

Exceptional compatibility has been demonstrated by various corrosion, cracking and fragilisation tests which proved negative on rubber, silicone, glass, plastic, Perspex, stainless steel and all hydro-compatible materials.

STABILITY

Research has demonstrated the complete stability of our products after three years’ storage. In fact, beyond this period, the active principles of our products are still intact, unlike numerous disinfectants available on the market.
